**KBL SMOOTH-COAT**
**DESCRIPTION**:
KBL SMOOTH-COAT is a modified vinyl-acrylic emulsion-based high solids putty with specially graded fillers. It is specifically designed as a finish coat for interior applications.
**USES**:
KBL SMOOTH-COAT is recommended for interior applications.

**APPLICATION METHOD**:
The surface should be clean, free of oil, grease, loose particles, and other contaminants before coating.
– Tools: Putty knife, Glazing knife, Scraper
– Cleaning: Water
– Dilution: Ready to use
**RECOMMENDED SYSTEM**:
– KBL FIX PRIMER (1 coat)
– KBL FILLER COAT (1 coat)
– KBL SMOOTH-COAT (2 coats)
**THEORETICAL SPREADING RATE**:
– 6-8 m²/kg
**DRYING TIME AT 30°C**:
– Touch: 1 hour
– Recoat: 2-4 hours
– Hard dry: 8 hours
**STORAGE & SHELF LIFE**:
– Store the putty in proper storage conditions as per the local regulations. Keep the putty container in sealed condition under shed, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
– Handle with care and stir well before use.
– Shelf life at 30°C is 24 months in original sealed container, with proper storage conditions.
**SAFETY PRECAUTIONS**:
– Avoid skin and eye contact by wearing overalls, gloves, goggles, and mask etc.
– Skin Contact: Rinse with water. If skin irritation or rash occurs, seek medical attention immediately.
– Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Consult an eye specialist immediately.
– Avoid inhalation of vapors and paint mist by wearing suitable mask.
– In the event of ingestion, seek medical attention immediately.
– Painting must be carried out in a well-ventilated area.
